Selecting the color you need can be confusing and sometimes difficult. Below are a few tips to aid
you with your selection.
Keep in mind, there are millions of colors of leather and vinyl. Each
manufacturer has their own dye lots and even dye lots vary from each other, so
it may not be possible to get an absolutely perfect match every time.
We have hundreds of colors to choose from and all of them work equally well on
both leather and vinyl regardless of whether the item is a piece of furniture or
a car seat. The only difference between them is that some colors are
formulated to match specific colors like the automotive colors.
If you can't find the color you want on one color chart, don't be afraid to look
for on one of the other color charts. Remember, any color will work on any
item. |
|
NOTE: We don't have access to
auto trim codes and colors based on your vehicle VIN #.
You can only obtain that information from the dealer. Please see
below for further information. |

Automotive Colors
- Domestic (Ford, Chevy, Dodge
etc.) |
|
The absolute best way to know that you are choosing
the correct color that matches your car interior is to call the parts department
of your local dealer and request the color name. It's easy to do.
Simply call the parts department and give them your VIN #
(vehicle identification number, found on your car
registration) and tell them that you'd like
to know the color name of your interior. You may need to be specific as to
the part of the vehicle, such as the seats or dash because quite often there are
two or more shades of the same color used in the interior. Normally, but not always, our color names
correspond to the manufacturer color name. If you don't see the color you
need on our color chart, then it's not available yet. Check back often as
we update colors as soon as they are available. |
|
Automotive Colors
- Foreign
(BMW, Lexus, Mercedes etc.) |
|
Unfortunately foreign
manufacturers don't make their trim codes and corresponding colors available to
us. However, some of our colors do correspond to the manufacturers
trim code and color name. The best advice we can offer it to select the color
that most closely matches the color you need. If you order a color and it doesn't match, you can
always exchange or return it.

Color charts and samples |
Sorry we don't have a printed color chart. Just as
difficult as it is to match a color on the Internet, a printed color chart is no
different. We run into problems with the off whites and tans, so we decided not
to offer a printed color chart. The best way to select a color is to rely more
on the description of the color rather than what it looks like on your monitor.
We no longer offer sample swatches. |
