Dash and/or Steering Wheel Repair...the trick.

(Please keep in mind this is for hard surfaces, not flexible surfaces. For flexible surfaces like the seats you would need to use our repair compound and Color Flex)

You will need 1 tube of Super Glue (thick formula if you can find it)
1 box of baking soda

1 sheet of 220 and 320  grit sandpaper
Vinyl gloves (not latex, they'll fall apart)
Rubbing alcohol

First clean the area with either rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl alcohol) or lacquer thinner.

Sand off any rough areas with 220 grit sandpaper and clean again.

Apply a thin line or bead of Super Glue to the cracked /flaking area  and quickly spread it with your (gloved) finger.  Immediately sprinkle baking soda on the Super Glue  before it has a chance to dry . It will cause a chemical reaction that will make the Super Glue bubble. The fumes are harsh and can and will irritate your eyes to don't let your face be too close to it when it starts to bubble.

When it dries (just a matter of seconds) sand it with the 220 grit sand paper. Keep doing this until the area is smooth. When you've achieved a smooth surface give it a final sanding with 320 grit sand paper.

You can now either just apply our Color-Flex  or first apply an application of our Spray Grain to give the appearance of a grain and to take away the completely smooth look, then apply the Color-Flex.

That's all there is to it.
