I purchased your repair kit and color flex to repair a red leather sofa with a ton of cat scratches on it. I ordered the light gray color flex and this is an amazing product and it very easy to use it. I have been impressed with how the light gray covers the red. Thank you for your great product. Jeanne
This is a fabulous product! The trick is finding the right color for your item needing repair, I actually bought 2 colors and mixed them and it was perfect. You can't tell that there was some slight damage to a red leather sofa.
Couldn't be happier. This product is wonderful. It brought our 16 year old couch and loveseat back to its glory. The product was a little pricey for Canadians because of the exchange but where can you get a product that restores leather back to nearly near. The cost of leather furniture is expensive, so compare the cost of the furniture to the repair kit. And really there's no comparing them. Very good product would gladly endorse.
Have used for several years on different projects. Repaired a bad tear in my corvette seat and dyed both seats to match and it worked perfectly and 4 years later still looks great. Currently dyeing the seats in an older pontoon boat, just finished, had to mix several colors to achieve the color I needed and it too looks great. Hope it will withstand the elements but it did fine on the corvette with the heat and cold from a closed vehicle and sliding in and out of the car. GREAT PRODUCTS
I have a guest office chair purchased sometime around 2010. It began wearing out on the arms and pieces of the fake leather began to come off - badly - leaving only the fabric underneath and black specs clinging to my forearms. Ewww! I really like this chair because it provides the best support, posture and comfort of any chair I've used at my computer desk. So I had to try and make it better for the sake of my back. The flaking was so bad, I had to use a coarser sandpaper of my own in order to grab all the small pieces in order to achieve a more sound base for the product. Also, I had a bottle of alcohol on hand and I used that to smooth the product after application as your instructions suggested. In essence, I needed to completely rebuild the surface creating a new "leather" skin. I didn't think I would have enough product to do the job, but I was happy to see there was enough left over for any future mishaps with the chair. I would highly recommend your leather restorer. Now I have my chair back! Thanks.
